Kanye and Dre are the best producers in Hip Hop history arguably, seems like Charles could have had Ye & Dre production skills with Nas/Lupe lyricism.

There's no one in mainstream Hip Hop that's fits that mold, to my knowedge

fukk the mainstream, we're talking about Hip Hop in general. There's always been great MC/Producers. DJ Quik, Q-Tip, Big K.R.I.T., and J. Cole are people who immediately come to mind -- and they're all better rappers and producers (in my opinion) than Charles Hamilton

Charles comes off like a cornball with all his gimmicks and personality. That's what puts people off. I don't care about any of that though cause I like music, I don't care whose making it as long as I like it.

the thing is tho, they aren't gimmicks...Charles is a very smart dude, but his mind isnt right, and he is arrogant as fvck (you can never call him wrong and have him admit it, he is somehow always the correct one, that's the kind of personality he has), he is ill...he just does things and says things..and people call it a gimmick, but its really just Charles doing whatever the hell he wants to do lol
