Both sorta oddball yet talented dudes, who had a spark when they started but now...you know the rest. :manny:

I love both the Pink Lavalamp and Below The Heavens, and I still sorta check for stuff from them...but I can't help but think that they totally could've been big...but for certain reasons (drugs, mental issues, laziness?) they couldn't make it to the next level....

So who do y'all think is a better example of wasted potential?

Blu's popularity also gave rise to Exile getting more exposure, Aloe Blacc got a bigger audience from this, so did MIGUEL, not to mention Co$$, Sene and them other dudes.

Charles didnt really give us anything. If you take his best tracks and compile an album, itd be dope as hell, but dude had ZERO quality control

Blu isn't trash tho, it's just he seems to have peaked with BTH. Which I can accept since that album is a person classic to me. There's still a lot of quality in his catalogue.

Other than some freestyles I never checked for Hamilton nothing against him tho.

really surprised Miguel never put Blu on when he got on :patrice:

And really Blu was a "below the heavens" sequel from being undeniably :ahh: kinda mad he went Alt on his No York project, shyt had a few gems but the rest were :camby: He still does the odd cameo on some European producers projects but what he really needs to do is sit down with Exile/SaRa/Taraach/LAUSD and put out a 12 song album

Charles Hamilton seems infinitely talented but a little too "genius" for his own good, needs management and dedicated producer
