I was on Facebook tonight and a lot of people I know where like "Well, he was a terrible person...but damn I would've like to have picked his brain." I always thought he tried to act smarter than he actually was. He got a lot of people to believe the hype including himself.

He was a major narcists he exaggerated his accomplishments. Hence why when a reporter would challenge or criticise his self-image he act overly sensitive towards them.

I watch some morbid shyt like serial killer docs and I never found him interesting. My guess as to why white people are obsessed with him has to do with multiple things. The crime itself, killing a pregnant celebrity, evil rock musician corrupts upper middle class white teenagers to do it and Rolling stone and the media giving him a legacy.

He lived with the founder of the beach boys for a long period of time also. Which just adds to the interest surrounding the Manson family
