what's up with the trespassing charge? Unless it was explicity stated that he can NOT buy a ticket and go to a knicks game, then how is he trespassing?
Tickets you purchase to any event at a private venue make you a licensee, which means you can be there for the limited purpose allowed by the owner. That also gives them the right to throw you out whenever they want, if they think you do something wrong. It usually says that on the tickets. Once they told Oak to leave, he was no longer an invitee, and once he didn't, he was trespassing. So he wasn't trespassing until then.
I'm rewatching the game and I spotted him early in the 1st quarter sitting in a seat on the baseline, a few rows up. The whole scuffle went down behind either the team benches or the other sideline seats. That means he walked over there and did something he wasn't supposed to do.
