They were already talking like that before anyone had any idea who the killer was. They just assumed the killer was someone on "the other side." And the people who made these assumptions and were demanding some sort of retribution against "the other side" were not just randoms on twitter. A majority of highly visible right wing politicians, journalists, political pundits, etc. were doing this (from the fukking president on down).

Most of your statements are accurate. But only Robinson’s parents were registered Republicans. He was unaffiliated according to Utah registration records.

All this debate over the killer’s political leaning is pointless. MAGA CACs are never gonna admit the call is coming from inside the house.
