The guy was a right-wing groyper nut. Once again, it's a maga exteremist that did the shooting. His whole life has been about guns. His whole family is maga. He dressed as Trump for Halloween. He was probably just mad Kirk wasn't extreme enough. Every political murder is from the right. But maga will just blame democrats. It sickens me.

I never listened to this guy until this happened but I just saw some clip of his during a Tucker Carlson interview. He was explaining how he thinks conservatives should approach the youth vote and drew clear parallels to Mamdani. If the right wing doesn’t find someone to quickly replace him, this will be a very big loss for their movement in the long run.
