Anyway, like I said earlier, my cousin is all about being anti-LGBT. That's primarily what drives her support for Trump. She thinks that society has become "perverse" by being more accepting of the LGBT community and that the Democratic Party supports the "perversion". My cousin thinks that kids are being "indoctrinated" into being gay or trans (and that Trump will "stop the indoctrination").
Further, my cousin basically thinks that the US should become a Christian theocracy, with Christianity being basically mandated as the national religion and the Bible being promoted in schools.
Looking at the origin of the NOI this argument makes no sense.
There are a lot of deeper meanings to the NOi.
In fact the NOI is closer to the original Islam than Sunni Islam is. And calling it “pagan” Islam will not change this fact.
