Thing is, Charlotte had to not be naive enough to realize that it was “expected” she’d win titles anyway. If it weren’t pointed out to her explicitly, it had to be implied in some capacity.

That’s why I disagree with her “elevation” theory. Sasha could be as dope as Sasha is but we all know even one title run on the main roster wasn’t guaranteed. On the flip side, no way in hell Charles “Flair” was going how long without winning any titles.

Unless WWE fires her and doesn’t push those title reigns anymore. Indi Hartwell said Sasha Bayley brought her into wrestling, and most of the young women training now are influenced by Sasha and Bayley. I’ve never seen anyone say Charlotte Flair influenced them

Actually, on that one part (title = character elevation), I get where Charlotte is coming from because as RIC FLAIR'S daughter, you have to be champion.

The rest seems like massive bullshyt -- especially given that I've NEVER seen Sasha win the title off of Charlotte Flair in "grand fashion" at say... a marquee PPV event. Charlotte has always won their PPV matchups.
