Interesting that they chose to make purple a primary rather than alternate jersey.

Yeah I think the purple should be the alternate

They are required by the NBA to create a unique brand. Hence, new font, logo, numbers, and no pinstripes. You wont see the gradient court either.

I think slowly they may work with the NBA to allow the OG throwbacks as an alternate but it will be a while.
