We about to get five 25 minute “great” matches with no commercials or any kind of let up in between

I doubt they'll let them be that cheap, especially as a startup company. WWE can get away with it cuz they generate a higher profit but it took them a while to get to that level. Even with the WWE Network before Peacock. And I think the network started around 2012 so they had nearly 20 years of Raw, plus Smackdown, and other shows, not to mention the previous PPVs, and all the WCW, ECW, and archive stuff they had acquired so it was easy to get a lot of people to pay $10 a month for all that. AEW doesn't have that amount of content or ability to give away the PPV at a lower cost. Tho I think they could likely get a decent amount of viewers if they do. Guess it depends on the price and comparison vs what they get on PPV. Lets say now it costs $50 and they get 100k buyers. At $10 a month price point they would need to get what, 500k buyers? I don't know if the WWE faithful or non watchers would reach that total even for a cheap cost. It would have to be a price that makes sense for them to still maintain a profit. That plus better overall interface and promotion like how WWE has with Peacock.

All I know is that I work until 6 so hopefully shyt don't start until then or 6:30, tho I'm ok with missing the Jericho match if they wanna get that out the way first 10 minutes or so while I drive home & find a stream. Just start the feed with both in the ring already, don't even gotta have the arena gates open yet.

I finally have a kind word for the USA this week - you changing your clocks forward before Europe means this starts an hour earlier for us. Midnight start for the main show not 1am.
