If your team loses by 60+ points you might as well fire entire staff, entire roster and start from scratch.

OK leave Scoot and whoever the fukk else has potential. The rest of them can go.

Nah

Scoot can go too

We’ll never really know. The blazers wouldn’t negotiate. If you ask Riley, he’ll say he never made Tyler available to anyone and we know that’s a lie
We can only assume logical situations, because of so many rumors floating. If the offer was Herro, Jovic, Caleb + whoever else for Dame, then that is the offer worth taking a look.

This isn't even Portland's worst trade. They gave away Powell and Covington away for free two years ago. Got zero valuable assets in return. Because whoever owned the Blazers were friends with Steve Ballmer and they did him a favor. Riley probably thought he could get Dame for nothing too.

chauncey should've never taken this job. now he' s getting scapegoated for a team he never signed up to coach
This may be true. With that said has he shown you any attributes of a good coach? Someone who can develop players?

They did duck the luxury tax and got cap space to re-sign Simons, which was the point of the trade.

its a completely unfair ask. let me spin it around - how is nick nurse when it comes to player development? what are his 'attributes of a good coach' when all he's done is take established, playoff-bound veteran squads? that's how some coaches protect their value and others set themselves up to get screwed.

chauncey went from coaching dame with the promise from the FO that he'd get more help quickly to having to roll out entirely rookie starting lineups

if chauncey wanted to coach a young team, he'd have done it. he had those opportunities and turned them down hoping to get a team that was potentially one or two moves away. if nothing else it would validate him as a coach associated with winning expectations.

and in spite of that, he had helped developed guys on that team quite a bit. doesn't even show either because no one in portland is healthy.
