Damn Im sick of this fukking narrative 49er fans have with an issue with the stadium.

"Its in the middle of nowhere" :mjcry:

The stadium is in Santa Clara, 10 miles from downtown san jose(10 largest city in country):yeshrug: in the heart of silicon valley next to great america(amusement park). Which is also next to 4 major hotels within 2 blocks. 3 Major freeways and 1 expressway. The stadium has its own damn amtrak station which the valley commuter train uses and also has its own lightrail station. But its next to nothing. I used to work right down the street from the stadum on smith st when i was still in the tech industry, i saw the groundbreak and i was at the 1st event. The stadium is very nice. 49er fans have a new Lexus but is missing the beat down 10yr old camry it had...makes no sense. Lets not act that every 49er fan is coming from downtown SF.

how was it?

No. Its out of the way.

San Francisco, is 20-40 minute drive from any where in the bay (for the most part).

Santa Clara is a 1 1/2 hour drive from
North bay

Bad product, bad parking, expensive food (to pay off the multi billion stadium) and out of the way

And cant even uber/lyft there :mjlol:

They have designated drop off area 1 mile literally away from stadium. Santa Clara gets hot as fukk (100+ degree heat). Nothing like walking a mile to a supposed fun day in a $100 jersey sweating by time you get to stadium :heh:
This sounds miserable! In Pittsburgh Heinz Field (I haven't been to a Steelers game since 2008 and don't care) is a 4-mile bike ride from my house on an almost completely protected trail and I live in the northern central area of the East End. Or there are multiple buses that will take people right to a private free rail transport that goes from Downtown direct to the stadium.

If they were winning it wouldnt seem so out of the way. People had been coming up from the South Bay to Candlestick for years. But the parking is pretty fukked up. I usually just take the light rail in, but it looks like a mess. Candlestick parking was more centralized, but it was a bytch to get out of the parking lot. The uber/lyft drop off is another issue. Plus you have uber drivers that don't know what the hell they are doing out there.

i don't think the distance is a problem. the shytty team and that matchup has more to do with it than anything else. they were selling out when harbaugh and tomsula were still coaching and they're top 10 in home attendance so far this season. it's just a game between two bad teams and no one wants to sit in the cold to watch that:yeshrug:

my problem with levi's is that it's underwhelming for the amount of money that they spent on it. they spent about the same as the cowboys and vikings yet their stadium looks out of date already compared to ATT stadium and US bank:scust:

I think from the inside it looks and feels fine. From the outside it is underwhelming and almost looks unfinished. I think its much easier to have a stadium that makes a statement when it is enclosed.

America will not fukk with paying these ticket prices to go see your games if you suck

not only that, but the niners play like 40 miles from the bay area. who the fukk wants to make that drive in california traffic for a team that is so ass? on top of that, given that the cost of living there is the highest in the country, I'm sure their ticket prices rival any of the BEST nfl franchises.
