probably the worst sports injury i've ever seen in person was an ankle injury during a baseball game. dude slid into 3rd base and jammed his foot on the bag, HARD. bone and ligaments and shyt were sticking out through his socks. his foot was sideways and flopping around all over the place...it was fukking nasty, man. and i've never heard anybody scream like that in my whole life.
