15285004_10153936935261021_2014862945958753541_n.jpg

^^^ we invented jazz and played it for decades...now they tour cruises, play on beaches and make millions every year off of it

and what's crazy is that we don't even complain about it....hip hop is just beginning the "complaining" phase, but pretty soon it'll be like jazz, we won't even give a shyt :mjcry:

Rapgenius was really for all the cac bloggers and culture vultures who didn't understand the coded lingo of hip hop and didn't really want to do the work to decode and decipher. They created a place where others who knew could provide them with the information so they could then be able to latch on and catch on to our shyt. Real listeners just keep playing it and playing it and then sometimes weeks, months or even years may pass before it hits us. That's the beauty of lyrics, not some forced, contrived over thought out contraption to lay everything out. Cac shyt 101.

So you knew what NaS meant when he spit "you'll be alright like blood money in a pimps cum"???

no. nas is the king of saying shyt you can't really immediately interpret, but again as I said before, there's a beauty in not knowing everything right away and allowing lyrics to unfold and reveal themselves to you over time. Any creative person or an individual who appreciates any kind of art in all of it's many forms understands this. The need to be super anal and have concrete evidence of what art means is exactly the opposite of creativity and art in the first place. Art and creativity are open to interpretation and debate from the artists perspective and on the listeners part. We don't always have to understand everything right away. The need to be anal, super accurate and over analytical of every detail of art is a cac trait. They can't leave anything open to interpretation because they don't have the creative gene in them so they have to define everything in order to understand and have meaning. These are facts. Cacs have very little inherent creativity of their own and that's why they have to have such databases and libraries of knowledge to refer back to so that they can study and duplicate what we do. period.

rap genius is only a reference tool for white people that don't know how to listen freely. they get annoyed and anxious when they can't immediately place their finger on something because their whole framework and operating system is internally and intrinsically void of any real and true spiritual creative life force energy. They just don't have it. When they can't define something with absolute certainty they go berserk. Rap genius is by white people for white people with the purpose of understanding and defining an entire culture in order to exploit it just like everything else they've ever done in their entire existence on this planet. It's for their reptilian dominant brain to be able to make sense of the free flowing creativity black and native people possess inherently and automatically/thread

At first lyrics sites like OHHLA, that I browsed in like 2000, were to find songs, discover artists catalogs, it would be like an equivalent to Youtube, as far as finding rare freestyles, and unreleased tracks, then I'd have to make a list and have someone burn me the cd, as I didn't have one. I heard songs I'd only read the lyrics too, through that process, like 'Drunk By Myself', or Nas freestyle over 'Eye For an Eye', 112 and Shyne 'Anywhere Remix'....And yeah, you could read the lyrics, as some songs had edits, or poor quality, but it was never like an interpretation, which is insulting one, and treats the art and culture like a zoo, for white hipsters. Rarely do I need help with lyrics, even slang I don't know, regionally, it's all in the context. Sites like Rap Genius are really just kind of an insight into how those people really view the genre. They have no real connection to the music, or the lifestyle it can portray, it's all just words, trends, and memes to them.

Facts. I truly don't understand why anyone listens to cacs about anything black music related. They have zero rhthyhm wtf can a cac tell me about black music???

Isn't it funny/troubling that almost all "black" spaces on the web are owned by cacs?

Bossip, LSA, hiphopwired, theGrio, MadameNoire, Datpiff etc.? And almost all the people are Jews, yet folks were arguing with me on a thread about Jews when I said they are overrated and they're parasites who depend on a host (mostly black folks) to thrive. They can't thrive on their own.

Go on a "black" site and end up making a cac richer, brehs. These cacs have infiltrated everything black.

I thought the owner of Bossip, MadameNoire, and hiphopwrired was black. Did something change?

Bossip-founder Jamarlin Martin called "Emporer of Digital Media" – Financial Juneteenth

Leadership

How is it an equal opportunity hustle when the number of white coders and computer science majors between whites and blacks is insane. The average black man or woman who indulges in hip hop culture does not have the skill set required to build a frontend and backend as intricate as rap genius. They're friends and their friends were also programmers so they had a network of people with the knowledge to help them build it.

Sounds like we need to step our game up.

like whites weren't already listening to hip hop since the 80's :mjlol:

what u said was stupid since there is no code or whatever. Some rappers uses their own city slang which outsiders sometimes don't get black or white and some nikkaz are just super complex with it like Lupe and Ras Kass. And they give you full details on the songs you like even sometimes having the rapper himself break it down.
