The question of what to do about crime and criminals is a argument full of fail cause it doesn’t address macroeconomic/domestic policy that leads to crime.

As long as large swaths of people don’t have access to adequate housing, food, employment, environment, healthcare and education there will be high ass crime levels, and there will be a back-and-foth ricochet debate about whether to go tough on crime or not.

Black people think that voting in ANY level, even local, is a deterrent and only selfish economics without helping your group, is the way to go.

Raking away voting rights and freedom of speech/protest is setting you up for a slaughter. Even guns alone, without discipline or selfless organization on a community level, is setting up an Argentina-like extinction plan.

You can protest until you’re blue in the face but you’re wasting time if you don’t follow through after the fact. People will pack the council meeting right after an officer involved shooting but the next one after that is quiet. Black folks get slaughtered out here and people will pray or yell stop the violence and move on. Then the leaders make decisions on your life at the council meetings that are quiet.. them ones people don’t go to… Then people get mad when sone shyt goes down and they hear about it too late because they don’t watch the news or stay informed in any way.

These police and their unions don’t give AF about anything but themselves… You had police on these meetings more mad about not getting paid enough to deal with these protests and other shyt they encounter out there than shooting folks. They painted a Black Lives Matter mural in Charlotte on one of the main roads and I SMH every time I drive over it. They really moved on from all this shyt and it seems to be business ads usual.

Its Been culturized to mock and belittle the black man (and woman) that has a "square" 9 to 5 job, calling them "nerds" and "lames" when they are in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. All for some quick money and social clout.

We're well aware of this, even a lazy historical analysis will bear this out, problem here is that the risk tolerance of Black people on the wrong side of these crimes will reach a point where they're willing to accept extra scrutiny from law enforcement if more criminals are taken off the street.

I doubt it. Most of the complaints about black crime aren't from the victims, it's from people crying about image. Alot of these people don't even live in black neighborhoods, or ever lived in black neighborhoods. The people that live in black neighborhoods are the main people promoting defund the police, because the police don't stop the majority of crime, they go around using the crime that happens as an excuse to harass (or worse) innocent black people.
