You can see the difference in speed between the two in a short clip. They aren’t complete pushovers, they just aren’t going to have a death fight over a kill. They expend so much energy on the chase down that they are usually completely gassed and don’t have enough energy to have a death match. But just random encounters in the wild, they will defend themselves if needed. Here’s one chasing off a leopard.
