The media hates golden state because they're not the typical "we came from nothing", roaches in the cereal box athletes, so it's hard for them to write meaningful stories about them, and typical NBA fans don't like them because they're not Lebron :mjlol: and they dominate using skills that can be learned and perfected by anybody.
I don't think the media hates Golden State at all actually. It is various fanbases throwing shade. The media is more so using it as a talking point for debates. The Warriors are kind of media darlings.

Michael Jordan told Celtics star Ray Allen, “When you win one, you've just [been] lucky.''
More than one, you’re legit. Back-to-back, you’re in the dynasty discussion.

Someone tell the Piss Colored Bros and Donkey Kong Green to repeat or keep it moving with the crying.:mjpls:

it got pretty ridiculous. people brought up Patrick Beverly as a reason the Rockets were not full strength

lost in that was the fact that his misses 30-35 games a year, and its Patrick Beverly :mjlol:

Patrick Beverley so good that the Rockets went out and traded for another starting PG this offseason.

But he would've been the difference maker in the playoffs

How was their path easy if they were down 2-1 twice? Jordan literally played nobody who has his athletic equal, and avoided Hakeem and any other dominant bigs in their prime. Was that his fault? Nobody ever mentions how easy his path was. Golden state dominated from top to bottom all year.

The media in general started the disrespect during the playoffs and even went as far to say Steph Curry had a bad finals when he averaged 26 and 8. They continue to push their title as fraudulent, I read it all the time.

There was a whole thread with posters rejoicing saying how the Warriors were done and how Memphis exposed them once they went down 2-1. And those same posters in that thread are the ones who have been running around trying to discredit the Warriors all offseason :heh:

Thought they were the best team ever though? :sas2:

We just gon forget how the Memphis series changed once Tony Allen got hurt? :martin:

Take the Warriors 2nd and 3rd best player off the roster and they're not going up 2-1 on anybody. :mjlol:

Nah that series changed up once the Warriors adjusted and put Bogut on Tony Allen.

All the health in the world wouldn't have made Tony Allen an offensive threat.

Wait who the fukk hates Golden State apart from the Rockets & Clippers (which is understandable considered those are two of the few legitimate rivalries in the League right now).

The media and casual fans love those motherfukkas. They're the darlings of the League right now.

I'm confused where this hate is coming from..

I give props to Kerr for that move. But Bogut on Allen had nothing to do with Allen on Klay and that's why they down 2-1.

If it did, Memphis would have been better without him.

Took the words right out of my mouth lol. The same Tony Allen they left open literally all series. And he's the 4th best player on that team at best

I don't think the media loves them. It was obvious how bad they wanted them to lose against Lebron. The first sign of weakness their true feelings came out. You even had media people looking to hate on Steph Curry for having his daughter at post GSW press conferences. It's a lot more backhanded compliments than anything imo
