I think I figured out what my real issue with Magic's flow is....it sounds like he's rapping to a beat that's playing in his head.

B Magic has ALWAYS rapped like that tho.

nobody's complaining about the bars. It's the unnecessary shyt show around them that's the problem. It's a 34 minute clip with 14 minutes of bars, 10 for an intro, and 10 for crowd reactions. There was damn near a 1 minute break after the Tank line. That messes up the flow of the battle. Bloe getting in the camera to dance after the Quan line. It hurts the replay value when I gotta fast forward to get to the next bar.

SDH needs to step up the presentation. Get rid of the spoilers/trailer intros. Stop with the rewind when we can rewinds it ourselves.

Perfect setup and delivery

It was cool but I feel it was a FORCED scheme. Like I know how it goes, Trez was sitting in his room trying to write for the battle and started thinking of clever and new ways to have a punchline with the word Magic. He started thinking about Magic Johnson and was like "Oh he used to play for Michigan State, their mascot is the..." wait a minute, Michigan State is the Spartans. I kid you not, I didn't realize that until I tried to break his bars down.

The only way this line makes sense is if the MSU mascot was a Trojan (it's not it's a Spartan) and it was on their jersey hence the "Trojans all over Magic" or if MSU played USC and Magic was getting d'ed up by a bunch of their defenders. I did some research and Magic has literally NEVER played USC.

So the wow factor of the punchline doesn't even make sense. Also, the setup is stupid. He heard B Magic was gay and that nikkas used to throw condoms at his face? shyt is forced like a mofo.

That scheme was so gassed and garbage it made me turn the battle off. Like you said, the whole throwing condoms on Magic part is so dumb. And Michigan State vs USC is not a well known sports rivalry, unless there's something I'm missing this is the type of forced garbage that is bringing down battle rap.
