In that sense she's right. I've read about places that put minimums on personal wealth in order to get a license. It's not a free market.

I'd rather people not be incarcerated over natural substances, they can stop doing that without legalizing weed for the benefit of the government. But the profit motive is in play...which is why they use the weed issue to get more modern day salves/free labor....how bout we address that before we start calling her dumb for stating the obvious. As long as prisons are private they will find an issue to keep the treadmill running, making weed legal ain't gonna change that. They'll find something else while they dominate the 'legal weed' market that black folk will be still serving time for 10-20 years after it's "all good".
