any brehs on Chess.com

I'm a basic player, I'm not a master or anything, but if anyone wants to play a casual game then message me in my inbox on TheColi and we can get some games going

i like chess, but i like playing it in person. if i was ever in prison or something i would be playing mad chess... if they let me :lupe:

i dont really like playing chess on a computer. ive tried all kinds of skins but i dont really like the way it feels.

the 2d board and classic chess coordinates are ok, but i like facing my opponent :birdman: and seeing them consider moves

in general its just more fun with a person there. i cant play against the computer.. that thing stomps my ass :damn:

Computer is really the only thing that helped me.

No different than Cod or Madden or any other video game. Developing a strategy utilizing it dozens of times figuring out what works, why, when to do certain things. You get better and better. I'm still baffled how mfs got good in the 50s just playing against others. But then again pattern recognition and puzzles.

Only thing that irks me is I don't know my true level. On chess.com I'm a 1600 but mfs resign often (when they're beat).

I can play against bots over and over again then slowly increase the level. But 1600 on chess.com vs 1600 on chess ultra (for switch/Xbox/PS5) is completely different.

whether online or in person that's how I liked to play, not a big fan of playing the computer, nothing wrong with it, I just feel I'll get better playing real people

I also ordered this chess book that specializes on opening moves for mad cheap. It should arrive in a few days

shout out to all the Coli brehs that play chess
