The lazy ass KD comparisons :russ:

Exactly! Jokers must be smoking meth....:mjlol:. KD had a NBA Triple Threat Wing offensive game as an 18 year old at Texas. He just had to start at center cause Texas was so small as a team his freshman and only year there..

Every team doesn't play what style? And styles are irrelevant.

Okay and he came in 230. 10-15 lbs on a 7'3" frame is essentially no significant change. Those injuries came from being too tall and underweight. KP was also an "NBA PF" until the league cemented itself in small ball. There's no 7-foot+ player playing the 4 in 2022 regardless of their shooting range.
Chet has good mobility for his height and great defensive instincts. Best shot blocker to come out in years. Player comparison is weak just because there similar height and body type. 7 fter playing the 4 and doing what Chet does is why he’s widely considered best prospect in this draft and player with highest ceiling

His comp is KD

after kd’s struggles, I would think twice, especially if you have other franchise players in this draft
Everything about this post is woat. Comparing him to KD is one thing but he says that if his comp is KD then they should avoid him because of KD’s struggles after 2 games in his 15th season after tearing his Achilles. KD a top 10-15 player ever bruh :mjlol:

Players will always be compared to predecessors for an outlook, yes KP's body type and range make him the closest comparison, don't know what to tell you.
He's not playing the goddamn 4 and regardless of 4 or 5 being freakishly tall amongst freakishly tall people while being uniquely underweight will likely emerge as an issue :unimpressed:

fukk that

Orlando needs every bit of talent they can get, I want them great again
Nah. Nothing against Clusterfukk City, but Hammond LOVES drafting guys who are built like Chet thinking there’s a Giannis in every draft. Meanwhile he doesn’t make room for those players because he’s scared that he’s gonna trade the wrong one so everyone suffers.

He has gained weight, but like I said, not enough.

Jokic and Embiid aren't back down centers? And regardless, every center or PF does not have to play like it's 1995, this is a contact/running+jumping sport and a 7'1" 200 lb player is going to have issues keeping up with this at the NBA level.
Porzingis has poor hip distribution. He has no lower body torque. Thats his issue, not weight. If he stayed athletic and slim thats more than fine. His issue is lateral movement not defending the post

Chet's fluidity makes him much more likely to handle the constant movement required of centers than kp

I don’t like his lack of aggression but then again that was a knock against Mobley so I can’t call it. He’s someone like Mobley who’s success is going to heavily depend on a guard or guards that can penetrate.

So you think a 7'1" 200-pounder is going to be durable enough for the NBA?

Who IS durable in the NBA right now?
For all 82? Almost no one, or if they are they still pace themselves. But even though other players with stronger/more prototypical pro-level frames not playing 82 games doesnt negate my point, I'll rephrase it.

Are you confident that a 7 ft 1 200 lb NBA player will be good for the reasonable 70 games expected of an All-Star+ player on a regular basis?
