Threads like this should do numbers just like anything else bad that happens to us. Unfortunately I've noticed that we only really get up for stuff like this if it's been verified that a white person was involved. Never fails. You can say that it's only a forum and isn't a representation...but it happens everywhere all the same. This didn't get the same coverage. And isn't getting the same attention as the Ferguson situation. And yet this is a 9 year old boy that has gotten smoked. Know what I think? I think it's a situation where folks have pretty decided it was one of us that took him out so...business as usual. It's a weird thing with our community. Even in death...we only really show up when a white is involved somehow.

I saw an article where a guy was saying that a recent death should get the same coverage as the Brown situation. Both involved were the same color though. I said in the back of my mind, sadly, that he could have saved his breath. That situation got buried too. I'm gonna try and find it and post it and ask the Coli Militants to explain this phenomenon.

This is kinda weird...the cupcake shyt is a kinda pointless detail to be putting in the article title. All I really got from this is that nobody had a clue what happened even tho it was broad daylight and he was outside an apartment building. R.I.P. to the lil dude tho.

It isn't even stickied. I had to search back like 7 pages to even find this. See what I"m seeing? I knew somebody was gonna come in and say what you just said too. So typical. Also notice how you are trying to lump it in with all the other homicides. Lowkey proves my point. Evidently it isn't really worth heavy discussion on it's own. 'Let's just lump this one together with the other ones!' My post is really referencing anything outside of Chicago as well. If a white didn't do it, it won't do numbers...here or anywhere else for that matter.

It won't be riots because the police will apprehend investigate prosecute then sentence the killers.

Which would be the exact same treatment if when a cop/white shot a black person they were quickly apprehended and fairly tried. Examples being when 4 sick white people lured 2 blacks to they home killed them had sex with they dead bodies then played video games. No riots there cause those 4 were quickly arrested. Same as the case in Florida when the idiot shot in a truck cause the music was loud. No riots because the guy got arrested.
