Chicago brehs, how's Oak Street beach?

Right now isn't the time to go, but I do plan on going. If you can think of better beaches let me know.

What's the best way logistics wise? Time of day to go, parking, etc. I know It's a couple parking apps so I might use one to reserve parking.


How's the crowd? Do it be a bunch a bad bytches that's down to play in the sand or are they stuck up or is it most pasty cacs

I'll be going by myself. Don't know if imma swim let alone take my shirt off since I'm flabby right now

Honestly wouldn't even waste time parking...save yourself the headache. Just uber or some shyt.

Bunch of white folks, like a sea of white folks when its crowded.

You can prolly find a game of volleyball to jump into hella easy if you're into that

Went there in 2015, it was like 80-90 percent white and the rest were Asian. I was only in town for the weekend I cant tell you about parking but parking on the north side is always awful.

It was straight for the most part. Like @Tenchi® Ryu™ said theres a lot of pick up volley ball you could get into.
Might be a Great way to pick up something or someone else nice. If you dig what I mean

what's wrong with 63rd street beach

It's so many beaches didn't know about this one. What's so good about it?

Oak Street is where all the white midwest transplants go. U'll see a pack or two stroll thru Oak Street but they usually get followed/chased away by CPD on 4-wheelers. Parking? Park on the streets and cross under LSD or Uber.

North Avenue beach is also a little but less than OAK St..... (sometimes). I'd say Foster and Monstrose beach is cool - but that's more for locals and tourist probably want that pristine setting

Oak Street and North Ave Beaches gets those mass mobs of black kids from the south and west sides every once in a while. In fact, last year on Memorial Day, it looked like Rainbow Beach. I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened again tomorrow.

You can easily park on East Lake Shore Drive, which is the street that the Drake Hotel sits on, and walk under the underpass to get to the beach.

During the summer, they open up the Oak Street Beachstro which is kind of an upscaleish restaurant they have right on the water which is a cool place you can take a lady friend.

Oak and North Ave have been traditionally the “see and be seen” beaches, for those in perfect shape.

Blacks typically go to 31st, 63rd, Rainbow. I’m sure there is another beach somewhere in between there too.

Along with Montrose, Wilson, and Touhy are beaches that locals go to on the Northside.

That beach is always crowed. Go to 31st or a smaller one up north if you want to actually enjoy yourself.
