That's another good one, though everytime I hit that up it's hella whitey's mixed in the bunch. Cool lil live music spot though, it's on 8th and Wabash.

OH and there's this new martini lounge called M that's on maybe, 15th and Wabash that has a predominantly older African-American crowd! Real nice and laid back, albeit a bit small.

Another spot I like to go to is Rumba near the North Shore Athletic Club. It's a Cuban-Fusion restaurant, but every other night it's either a live Afro-Cuban or Jazz set performing live on a stage with booths all around it. The food is and the atmosphere is so nice and intimate, it makes you feel like you're back in the day. Not many black folks though. But the owner is a Puerto Rican cat married to a sista
