Chicago has went nearly a year without snow

From my understanding, people despise snow in the Windy. And when it does hit, it usually renders the city unbearable and difficult to commute in.


I have family in Midway and they say winters there are basically a few months you essentially consider a season of downtime from life because it's mucho frio, guay.

Chicago gets a lot of shyt wrong, but when it comes to snow removal they are actually on point like a mf. If there's even a slight chance of real snowfall the trucks are out a day/night before presalting the streets and expressways. Snowplows are out and the main arterial streets are cleared immediately. Then side streets/alleys are taken care of by smaller trucks/local contractors. It's the one city service Chicago has mastered.

Nope its been in the 50s to low 40s temperature wise. Global warming is freaking real. It was normal to have temps in the negative around this time. Hell as a kid I remember going to school in negative 20 degree weather. This weather the last 8 years has been crazy to see in Chicago.

Breh Chicago is on point with that snow clean up. But if folks in power don't take care of that snow it can be a political nightmare.

Remember Daley Jr. fukking up not putting snow out and salt on the roads that one time ended up helping his ass get out the paint after all them years in office.
