It’s a beautiful city with cool neighborhoods and great arts & culture.

Sad that many only think of it as a violent hellscape.

Chicago is one of the top cities in the world but inequality is VERY pronounced in the north east and Midwest.

A lot of these bangers are the descendants of people from Florida, Louisiana and Texas - all states with strong gun cultures.

Violence of this kind doesn’t commonly occur in the northeast (I assume you mean New England?).

There will always be violence in an an unequal and oppressive society. Making these threads is solving nothing.

I hear your cries, but a lot of these violent encounters between black people is from a lack of being able to get along. You always come off as if every single act of violence in the black community is due to lack of resources, when thats far from the truth.

Only a very small part of Chicago is actually dangerous. Chicago is a great city with alot of history and culture and you shouldn't be afraid to visit.

I wouldn't say a very small part.

A large portion of the city is indeed crime ridden or is within close proximity to crime that occasionally might spillover into those said neighborhoods.

But overall it's not the 3rd world war zone like these faux news pundits/ MAGAs or drill music stans proclaim.

People forget that this is still a world class city.
