I didn't like him at first either do to his stance on immigration BUT he is the only Black mayor that has responded by saying we need to invest in communities. Still don't like his immigration policies but Black mayors like Bowser have the same immigration policies AND want to subject Black folks to stop and frisk policies.

The optics of this situation is bad. We don't want the military up there but the right wing media has made Chicago shooting statistics a major thing for years. They don't care that it's black people getting shot, just that it's a liberal city. So therefore, how can you say shootings will continue. Might as well roll out the red carpet for the military then.
