More wealthy/rich black people need to buy up these hoods and turn them into paradises for black people. Anti-gentrification.
Salute. One of my bucket list items.
This is one of those things I feel like I have to be from the hood to understand. Buying a block in the hood sounds like a huge headache to me. Props to her though. Someone’s gotta clean up the communities![]()
This is true, but you can also have someone else manage the headaches, like a property manager/management company. In general, they'll take 10% of the monthly rent (50% of the first month rent for admin fees to find tenants). That'll keep the stress off you other than paying repairs not caused by the tenants.Buying and renting out houses is a HUGE headache you have to want to keep them up(word to my dad) he's a handy man so he like keep the houses up. Everyone ain't built for that.
This is stupid online talk that comes from people ime that usually can't move. You don't see many people at all staying in a certain neighborhoods if they have the money to leave. It's not to just goto some white area either like nikkas on here love to say. Alot move to the nicer black neighborhoods too and why shouldn't they?. We all need help at times but you mainly have to do for self and the help does just that not become the only way a person makes moves.Easy for you to say, you don't deal with the ups and downs. Ianyone trying to make a change financially, if you can't stand the vitriol from our own at least you tried.
Most people don't even tryJust move away like she said. We're taught to haul ass for fukk's sake.
