If not, what do yall plan on doing? If nothing, then as they say "if you're not a part of the solution, you're merely part of the problem", and since you're doing nothing, I ask that you two kindly sit the fukk down and shut the fukk up cuz there's nothing but air and opportunity keeping both of you from doing something more than running your dikk beaters and waiting for the next person to do something rather than doing something yourself, since you're making it seem like no one's doing anything in your respective communities

yeah, but your question is loaded though. there is no individual action one could make to stop black crime. at best, he'd give the typical coli response about how he mentors the kids and feeds the homeless.
Of course one individual couldn't stop it, but an individual could set something in motion to contribute to the improvement of their community. Every bit counts, and everything starts with one. If he wants to act like no one's doing anything his his community, what's stopping him from getting something started?
I'm not from Philly. I live here now. I'm from Delaware. There are external factors that keep blacks in poverty. But at the end of the day, everybody makes their own choices. I grew up poor in the hood. I never killed anybody. I never robbed anybody. You wanna make excuses for people who choose to rob and kill people, that's cool. Just make sure you do it when they rob and kill you too.

i understand your gripe over dudes complaining about the shape of the community, while not attempting to better it. but it's still a loaded question that's always answered the same.
"i uhh, i feed the homeless. i mentor the youth. i go to the retirement home to read to the elderly." it's all the same shyt, and i'm personally tired of hearing it.
Legitimately, mentoring the youth is one way to help curb the violence. This is exactly what Vaughn is doing with Be About It in the field. Giving the youth gems, encouragement, options and ways to occupy themselves in a constructive manner rather than be involved in street shyt. A lot of these inner city youths are lost because quite frankly their parents suck, their environment sucks, and they have no positive role models. Sometimes all it takes is someone to reach out and light the path ya know?
I see what you're saying, but yeah, it just rubs me the wrong way to see people complain, disregard the factors which created such impoverished conditions, yet offer no solutions whatsoever. Ppl like that just sound like they simply wanna shyt on black people cuz they have an axe to grind and really don't care about any sort of improvement
