I vividly remember in my teen/early 20's women saying more directly how a dude was too good for them..More times than not we took it as jokes but in reality tthey where dead ass serious....As they get older they express it more through sabotaging actions and ways...There ego will never allow them to be that honest again tho until reality really settles in...

No they didn’t, unless they fat af and/or ugly. They get to enjoy the years that matter. Teenhood and prime adulthood.
