for those that continue to eat at chick-fil-a, does it bother you knowing that the money you give in exchange for your food is being used for these anti-gay marriage groups? or are you not concerned with how chick-fil-a is using their funds and more concerned about yourself and eating their food? or are you just against gay marriage in general?

i'm curious because it seems like a good amount of you are apathetic to the issue of chick-fil-a using your funds in this manner, and i feel like that apathy is a result of your lack of support for gay marriage. maybe even direct opposition of it, but it's presented under the guise of apathy to avoid seeming discriminatory and judgmental of the group. besides, there's no real argument against gay marriage aside from ones that take a biblical approach, or the "belief" concept, which you could technically believe anything you want to.

i'm just curious though, so i'd like to hear what you have to say...

their business, their money. gay marriage does not affect me so i give a fukk about if it passes or not. gimme that spicy chicken. :takedat:

they're promoting a message that's based on biblical principles in an attempt to influence the politics of this country more towards a biblical based set of principles rather than one based on logical, reasonable standards of living that are separate from the principles derived from the bible. in essence, they're using bible-based set of principles to limit the rights of a group, and those rights are given by the state, not God, yet they won't disconnect the two.

you'd figure people were so concerned with denying religion and the existence of God in the forum that they'd look at this as an opportunity to really stick it to people who believe in God and get them less involved in deciding the politics of the country.

but instead, people just want to eat a chicken sandwich and they don't care...

exactly. you're right on all counts.

you could eat somewhere else though. i just find it weird because it's a simple way of showing your lack of support for what they're doing but "nikkas", as you put it, still can't seem to do that. they'd rather just eat a chicken sandwich from there instead of going somewhere else...

do you believe in God? and i do agree, there are companies that support worst causes but i'm talking about this company, not other companies. you shouldn't attempt to convolute the argument by expanding it, it deflects the issue at hand. and capitalism is a belief system in and of itself, so your argument about throwing your beliefs is the bushes is foolish as well...

I have no problems with them promoting a message that is based on biblical principles. It is not their fault that the governement has not drawn a line that completely seperates biblical marriage from "government based marriage". You are reaching with the whole "they are trying to influence the politics of the country to be more Bible based". That is how the country was built. Chick fil a did not do that. If anything, there has been a steady push to push politics the other direction away from traditional biblical principles.

You are surprised that a site that loves to bash God and religion is not aligning with homosexuals? Well if that's what you are looking for just do a search on Frank Ocean.

One thing you can go away with is that the coli loves Frank Ocean and Chick Fil A.

Hey can you post proof that they're campaigning against gay marriage. All I know is he said he doesn't support it. I don't care if gays want to get married. What's bothersome is when a person states their opinion the media attempts to force them into submission. Tons of people don't believe in God and think it's all bullshyt but for this person that is not the case. The guy that said that really believes there's a heaven and hell. He really believes that being gay is a sin. So for people to try and force him to accept homosexuality despite it going completely against his morals is ridiculous. Isn't everyone supposed to be tolerant of others ideas. Aren't we all supposed to accept people for who they are and not try and force them to change and accept something that in this person head will send him to hell.
