I'm sure the girl has not placed the OP in the friend zone if she is expressing her interest in him for something more serious. She might be safeguarding herself against sexing a dude who isn't commitment minded (which it doesn't seem like you are at this point OP). She might think you are sexy as all get out but isn't going to give it up until you express some interest in having a relationship with her.

Keep her as a friend, don't try to smash because it's going to screw up the friendship if you have no intention of wifing. Smash some other women to get your fix.
