Posters on a message board apparently don't understand what a flop is. You can't sit there and just say 50K is a flop or a success without knowing:
1) How much was actually invested in the project?
2) The expectations of the label vs. what he'll actually sell.
Then there's the fact that labels don't actually see first week sales as the end all be all. Just because he's on a major and does 50K doesn't mean he flops. It appears people just say an artist flop because they didn't sell what THEY expected them to sell vs. knowing what the label expected and having a logical justification of saying somebody flopped.
