I thought so, but in the case of pewdiepie, it's his channel so he has less people taking a slice of his pie I would imagine. I watch a lot of smaller partnered youtubers 30-
~200k+ subscribers and some of them say they really don't make much. Their view counts average around 30-100k. Are they receiving pennies on the dollar or a bit more. To bring it back onto the current topic Love Sosa has 39 Million views, I don't like has 11, the remix 35. If he received even 10% that would be atleast 850 racks

I know, it's one of the most fukked up things about this life. He just plays video games while making silly faces and saying dumb shyt and has millions of dollars and fans. They receive a certain amount per thousands of views. Pennies per 100k views. And The more views your channel gets consistently, the less you get paid tho.

I can guarantee Keef made no where near 850k off Love Sosa lol esp cause Vevo and his label

Never really cared to research it or anything but do rappers really see notable digits off YouTube/Vevo views? I know the labels and YouTube get most of it but do the actually artists see much of it if any?

I do believe they're getting paid. Vevo is what's called a multi-channel network [MCN]. They're third parties that broker the advertisement deals with youtube. Vevo in act may even be owned by the record labels. It was the only way youtube could allow songs to be played and monetized.

This youtuber did an AMA. He breaks down how he makes money. Somewhere in there he mentions it being his fulltime job making over 50k a year. This was 4 months ago when he only had 200k subscribers he now has 300k

He's not getting rich off YouTube but what is is making is decent show money once in a while off YouTube.
