but on a serious note, dude said Chief Keef haven’t had a hit since hate being sober. He is incredibly wrong, earned it and fineto are two of his biggest songs. Earned it was huge in the college party scene, much bigger than hate being sober. If you weren’t around that crowd or tuned in you wouldn’t know, hence the relevance of his age

I do have some keef songs in my playlist. It doesn't mean that the guy did not fukked up his own big shot when he had it, and never actually had a hit after. And we can't single out this situation as the only cause, because what 50 spoke about lack of professionalism showed up later in keef's career. Or you trying to tell me that he was somewhat consistent? fukk outta here.

What I said have nothing to do with your answer. I actually agree with you. 50 was in his feelings. With that being said, I also said that keef's career could've been bigger, but wasn't because of himself using drugs, and partying, just like you said. The video shoot probably wasn't the only appointment or obligation he had and missed.

I agree with most of this, I stopped listening to Keef years ago, I grew out the drill phase while in highschool and faneto is the only song i’ve listen to purposely since like 2013 and the only one I listen to now. But we aren’t debating about the potential he never reached or his relevancy in 2020. My argument is simple, he has made music since hate being sober that generated steam, buzz and are hits by his standards. Not anthems like love Sosa or don’t like but music that still resonated with crowds of people. saying hate being sober is his last big song is being disingenuous.
