I hear a lot of Boosie in NBA Youngboy , Kodak , Peezy who in themselves are inspiring a new wave .... Peep Kodak and NBA early work ....

Honestly, I agree with you, but I think Starlito kind of started this type of stuff years ago

I think he is a little more introspective and laid back then some of these young boys though.....Its Boosie energy, flow and songwriting style I'm hearing.....even the harmonizing at points either sounds like Boosie or Gates more so than it does someone like Future.

He wasn't really "on" long enough to do this. OP is talking about "like Jay-Z"....Jay been around since the 90's. Keef wasn't even hot 10 years ago.

Fred.
What does being hot have to do with making a EDM song?

Chief had me jamming to thot breaker all summer. nikkas say he fell off but i've always argued just because the majority of the ppl stopped listening doesnt mean he fell off. Dude has better bars than when he first came out, dude has better songs, dude produced damn near all of BFTD2. What do these nikkas want from sosa ?
Still playing Thot Breaker :wow:

SOHH ICEY N.O.
I stopped being a fan after he got out of jail. But it’s no denying the movement he ushered in has been the biggest and most influential of this generation. Reese, fredo, keef is legit legends tho. If we understand it yet or not.

I wish Reese took It serious. But he rather be in the hood

If Chief Keef influenced this new generation (Uzi, Carti, Yachty, & Fetty were the rappers in that video named as influenced by Keef) as much as yall claiming, it makes sense why they cant rap either, but instead mumble random phrases while relying on production & adlibs too:ld:

:hubie:
No disrespect but those nikkas don't give af about being no lyrical miracle ass nikkas. (Sosa can actually rap tho)

It's not rocket science. The longer you're around, the more likely you are to branch out/trend hop/whatever to stay relevant. Jay been around close to 30 years.....Keef was a nobody 10 years ago. Hell, less than 10 years ago. So Keef wasn't "on" long enough to hit that stage of his career.
