child support court today

long story short, go to c.s. with my ex-wife, her and the d.a. try to hit me with that . His bytch ass requested 10+ days in jail, my license suspended,child support raised, and then she tried to add on that because i'm moving back home to n.o. to be a police officer i should have my rights terminated people in the courtroom had this face . Sad part is because i have multiple cases, the money was being sent to the wrong account(states fault) and i started paying out of pocket. The judge not only reinstated my license, she lowered my child support, and told me i was a good father cause even though i was homeless for 4 months this year i still made "some" payments and still provided for my kids. wtf is wrong with the system if "its all about the kids" and they tryin to send fathers to jail. they sent a man to jail today and he was in the hospital for 6 months, a soldier got sentenced to 10 days for non payment on a child thats not his cause his wife cheated on him and hid from him while he was overseas. the child support system in tn has to be the worst in america hands down.

Breh you did the right thing having a lawyer. Don't ever go in their without one. What I noticed is those social workers talk to us anyway they want but when you have a respectable lawyer on your side they don't try that funny business. I suggest all men in those situations to get a lawyer.

Man I been through the same shyt they think we uninformed when it comes to the law plus they want you to pay to get a lawyer its all about money. But you done the right thing getting a lawyer to get it reduced.

the man was in the hospital because his kidneys failed they didn't think he was gone survive cause of his age and how long he had been on his job(oil rig) and this was the first time he was behind straight to jail
the soldier was overseas for 18 months straight didn't take no r&r because he was going thru a divorce, his wife got pregnant with some other dude baby and named him the father,in TN if you married the father is automatically the childs father. she filed for divorce and put him on child support. he didn't find out until he reported to his next duty station and his commanding officer told him he had a warrant
