I watched the whole thing. Yes it did improve afterwards. I’m judging the show on the whole totality.

Pros:
Usher can still dance his ass off.
His vocals are still crisp.
HER killed it on the guitar.
Lil Jon and Ludacris cameo.

Cons:
Audio issues at the start.
Alicia still can’t sing. Her first note sounded like a cat being molested.
Will.I.Am looked like a futuristic hobbit, wasn’t needed.
Too many dancers and theatrics… but that’s just my personal taste. Usher has enough charisma by himself.
