At the end of the day, staying power and how much you resonate with current times is usually what matters most outside of one big event to change things. That’s how artists like Drake stuck around nearly 15 years and would’ve kept going.
If anything it’s a shame for TLC because they had some incredible staying power that’d probably have given them a stretch to the mid/late 2000’s had Left Eye still been around. They probably would’ve faded once music went “electronic/dance” sounding. That was years away though and would’ve still resonated during Beyoncé’s early solo run. BIIM would’ve taken the backseat to B2K at some point.

Were B2M arrogant back then, yea i heard they could be some a$$holes. They had the most success out of all 90s r&b groups and its not close. They did all that at 18-22. Most people dont realize B2M wrote damn near that whole first album (and they was high school at the time) and it went platinum before the reissue with end of the road and was #3 on billboard.

Nah slide 3 Jon B said Face dont return the love and he doesnt like him or know his kids. Those slides im pretty much sure that Jon B is saying they do shows together for like 90s reunion shows or something and not Babyface actual shows because he mentioned how they dont tour together. Im not in the music biz so im just speaking on stuff my aunt and others have told me that were there.
