What you're saying is not even remotely true unless you're only watching TikTok propaganda videos.

Shanghai a wannabe NYC, pretty much. The Bund and all that is alright, but there's a bunch of painted over infrastructure that isn't used. Bullet trains ain't matching the overall experience and sophistication of Shinkansen. Especially Gran Class. I even enjoyed Taiwan HSR over China.
