Man I was talking to one of the dudes I work with in China and his wife is having another baby (which is rare because the taxes/fines are higher for more than one child).

Anyway I asked him does he know the child's sex and he says no we don't know. It is against the law in China to find out the childs sex because people in China will kill the baby if it is a girl.

Anyway I always knew about the killing of females in China but never knew that it was against the law to know the babies sex.
