China Making Fake Moons For Lighting

Saw something like this at Burning Man this year. It was honestly really cool - looking up in the night sky at two huge moons was a trippy experience.

I dunno. But I would assume they'd have to have the diameter of a football field at least. Also assuming the atmosphere has a magnifying effect as well.

if these things are simply reflective devices, then fine.
but how are they going to get these things to remain in a stationary orbit?
they are supposed to be orbiting above highly populated areas.

there will have to be continuous adjustments in order to remain in position.
doing so would reveal how they do it because they are putting it on full display.

they may be doing it to tell the US that they cracked that problem and they know how to fukk up the US's ability to do so.

remember when they took out one of their own satellites as a warning to the rest of the world that they could actually do it?
