nikka what are you talking about? I have kids and it's not about their well being, it's about watching them grow and attending their events before they get older and are out of the house for good. It's one thing travelling for work, it's another to be stationed halfway across the world. You can take a private jet to your kids events if you're in Cleveland. Not that easy when you gotta fly 18 hours.

I personally have taken much less in compensation, turning down roles to have more time with my family: work/life balance is highest priority for a lot of people.

For those talking $25 million/year, thats a grip for just 38 games plus playoffs. The season runs from mid-October thru February. Playoffs run up until mid-April. Thats a long time to be away from the kids and wife.
