Nah. It's not that easy. China is a country of civil war. A weakening of the economy can be dangerous for the regime. And Anglo power won't miss them.

The Chinese regime has an agenda to fulfill; they can't afford a major pushback.

This fight is less simple that we might think.

But China can subsidize their losses longer though if if comes down to a test of willpower. Trump alienating Europe with Iran and general dikkish behavior isn't going have a united front or alliance to bend China.

I mean, I am embarrassed by Trump, but fighting a tariff war to get better terms for American business and to try to protect American IP is not some deplorable act to go for.

China has made whole multi billion dollar companies off stealing IP from US firms and making it all cheaper in China (Huawei being the biggest example, stealing everything from Cisco)

But spending as much money as we are, on many of the wrong things, while giving out a tax cut, then looking for more money to socialize the farm industry while you fight a tariff war with China is so 'Not' republican is hilarious.
