China is a communist country. They WILL print more currency and send out subsidies and stimulus checks if they have to so they can maintain the population's buying power. They are also the biggest manufacturer on earth. The demand for Chinese shyt isn't going down unless Trump starts cutting massive stimulus checks so we can buy American but he won't do that because "tHaTs SoCiALisM"

They'll exchange their dollars for another currency and keep spending. They've known this is a possibility. America has been hostile to them since Obama and Trump just cranked that shyt up to 11. When Biden got in here should have negotiated with China and tried to lift those tariffs. If he'd done that, goods(most of which have touched Chinese hands before they come here) would've been cheaper and he wouldn't have been getting blamed for a bad economy.

Instead he accepted Trump's framing, took a massive L, and now his investments are about to tank too since American politicians primarily invest in our markets and don't spend that much money on euro or Asian stocks. In the words of the poet DJ Khaled

China is using state capitalism with communism as it's goal.

The 5 year plans they use are in service towards these goals:
1. Ending extreme poverty
2. Developing its infrastructure so it can produce the goods that the people need like food and housing.
3. Limit income inequality to make sure their citizens all have their basic needs met and then if they want luxuries they can work for them.

They've achieved the first 2 goals so far. They don't let their billionaires get away with illegal shyt or flossing on the general public.

It's basically an alternate version of how America works. Rather than the billionaires controlling the government, the government controls the billionaires. If you call a policy socialist or communist there, that isn't a bad word. They'll tell you "yes, that's the point. We don't care if your CEOs won't get fat bonuses and your shareholders won't get big returns. You're gouging people with absurd prices. Stop it now" and they'll fall back.

Crazy thing, nobody put a gun to American corporations' heads and forced them to ship their manufacturing overseas
Quarter after quarter, they chased higher earnings, lower margins
Who the F is Trump mad at?
Pro tip, he was in on it since 1980

This does not answer my question.
He said China achieved ending extreme poverty :mjlol:

“China achieved its goal of poverty reduction in the new era as scheduled at the end of 2020”, said Yu Weiping, Vice Minister of Finance.“We have accomplished the arduous task of eliminating extreme poverty, and made significant contributions to global poverty reduction. Going forward, China will continue to sustain and expand the gains in poverty alleviation and comprehensively realize rural revitalization. The Ministry of Finance will ensure that sound fiscal policy measures will be made and implemented to support the transition. We stand ready to continue strengthening cooperation with the World Bank in relevant areas.”
