That timeline isn't correct...Rome actually never 'fell', it disseminated across the continent. Point taken though.European states historically have always been at odds with each other.

Great book, it's a mandatory reading as far as I'm concerned.
This is also a great short Documentary(25 minutes) which generalizes what occurs in the book.

The West would never get away with this in Africa.
Corruption is everywhere but this is deeper than that.

Then African nations should be reading the contracts and not agreeing to these projects.

When I was 20, any card with a magnetic strip would have me in hella debt and problems. Now, I have all manner of credit and have not 1 bit of problem with using it or paying it off.
It's all in the planning.

The people with ideas arent in power .......
ive never voted in a Nigerian election simply because Ive never come across a candidate worth the X
The irony is, hypothetically if a potential candidate were to come about with game-changing policies or ideas, they'd likely be slandered, discredited and even assassinated before ever getting a chance to implement a single issue. At some point, a change has got to come( @Conscious Pilot ).
