Newsflash wake up and research what America has been doing for over 40 years with trade agreements. Also which countries has been buying up land and properties all across America? The Chinese and Saudis. Both parties been selling America. Hell, I bet you at least 30% of Congress is compromised by foreign countries.

NAFTA is a major example of a bad trade deal that everyone is still trying to move past.

The goal has always been one thing: making as much money as possible and then letting the next people take on the blame. It keeps happening and people keep falling for it. Democrats write a bad bill that passes, Republicans pretend to be outraged but still keep it because they're making money off it. Rather than a public option we got the affordable care act. Republicans came in pretending it was awful but then didn't repeal it because people didn't want them to and because if they owned stock in insurance companies they saw those returns going up.

The real people in control are the ones who have more than 2Ms in their bank account. That's whose thoughts and opinions actually matter.

Why close up the border when those people can be used as underpaid labor and justification for more money in prisons and for police departments? If I'm a border agent, I'm eating off this crisis and want it to continue because I'm getting overtime and new hardware to blast people with. This is an issue they can make money off so they won't treat if seriously. It's a great political football that both sides can use to play with.
