Chino's good, but his emphasis on forcing punchlines puts him in that corny territory staked out by Celph Titled and Jay z . If he's just spitting bars its fine, but when he takes the same battle rhyme approach to other topics, it fails miserably. He's not a flexible MC at all and he won't stay in his comfort zone.

Ricanstruction showed that Chino can write good songs with real topics, I felt them more than his usual battle rap songs on the album.
