This is how I see it:
French told Chinx to leave town right before he got kilt, he aint listen.

Chinx probably had problems in the street and instead of handling it or getting low he got dealt with.

French and moreso Diddy's relationship with Chinx was probably business but Chinx mom don't understand street or industry politics.

French not going to tell Chinx mom what went down from a street standpoint and from an industry standpoint him and Diddy probably don't feel they owe her.

Exactly, he was messing with alot of chicks too. He was married but they wasn't together like hat. It's obvious his wife cared for him but it's not like they was madly in love. Probably just holding it down for the kids.
