A music video filmed in honor of the late
Chinx ended in multiple arrests over the weekend, according to the
New York Daily News.
The arrests, five of them total, were made due to possession of illegal weapons and drugs.
Although the video shoot, which took place in East New York, Brooklyn, was attended by the likes of
French Montana, Ja Rule, Busta Rhymes, Noreaga, and
Juelz Santana, no artists were arrested.
Among those arrested were a security guard, a woman starring in the music video, a couple, and one other man.
The Coke Boy Records video shoot was infiltrated by plainclothes cops after they got word that residents reported seeing guns and drugs on the video set.
Among the weapons seized were a Derringer pistol, a semiautomatic pistol, and a .32-caliber revolver. Cocaine, marijuana, and molly were also reportedly found by authorities on the video set.
Despite the occurrences on set, the artists present during the video shoot have remained relatively silent about the encounter.
